![]() ![]() My other gripes are little things that add up, like sound effects and music is just crap. So comms would be a real big help in the game. The game was ridiculous and our other team mate left. ![]() Figured it out after a few minutes but my team mate had no clue. First game I played, myself and another team mate didn’t know what was happening. Secondly there is no in game comms so you can not plan anything with your team mates. So you have to join randomized teams and can not play with friends. Makes it nice not to be completely level 1 when you go into a public match.īut I have some big gripes with the game, first off you can not make a team unless you buy a subscription, cheapest being about R20 for a month. I like that there is a single player mode to level up and get stronger, farm equipment and gold. It’s fun too but there a few things lacking. Downloaded and played a couple of matches. ![]() The game isn’t available on the SA PSN, you can grab it from a EU or US store. * I face rolled my keyboard for that fake number What do you think? Does Invokers Tournament tickle your fancy? Also, thanks to Guild for the heads up. That being said, this is a console MOBA, meaning it may find a solid community away from the Master Race. I’d like to think I am open minded, but I will almost always go back to Dota 2 (although Heroes of the Storm has been receiving lots of my attention to be honest). It’s nigh impossible to uproot a player from their game of choice. I do think the MOBA market is one tough cookie to crack though, and it’s getting very, very crowded. The other is a lot simpler – the ever popular domination-type game, where points need to be controlled to accumulate score. One seems to the typical destroy-the-enemy-core, with separate side objectives designed to give a team an advantage. Judging by the website, there are two game modes to play. These Invokers reach the City of Anundabar, where they will compete in its Tournaments against other players in quick 3v3 online matches full of action. In Invokers Tournament you will adopt the role of an Invoker, a warrior-mage who can transform into different avatars, each with their own special characteristics and abilities. Seems interesting, although it doesn’t look like the “traditional” MOBA. It’s called Invokers Tournament, it’s free-to-play (with in-game transactions), and it’s now available on the PlayStation 4 and Vita, with a PlayStation 3 version coming soon. That guy with lots of spells from Dota 2 is hosting a competition. Create a team with friends and compete in different seasons against other teams.Probably the first thing I ask myself when I get up in the morning is, “why are there so few MOBAs in the world?” Then I realise we’re not back in 2013, and that there are approximately 4536* different titles in existence now.Discover all the skills of your invocations and learn to control them on the battlefield.Acquire all the invocation rings and equip your character with different combinations in fun and exciting online matches. The free-to-play title remained available to download on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita for a time but was confirmed to have been removed no later than September 14th, 2020.įight your way through frenetic online battles in this new Action MOBA! Collect and learn to use the different invocations and rise to the title of Tournament Champion! Until this date, we’ll turn off new in-app purchases soon, and hope you’ll enjoy playing Invokers Tournament until the end of the service. It’s with great sadness that we’ll be concluding the game servers on 1. Unfortunately, our game concept did not translate as we hoped, and we are not able to continue the game service more time StormBASIC games will close their doors soon. Invokers Tournament players have played countless PvP matches since the launch. When we created Invokers Tournament, we were excited by the possibilities of translating a MOBA with action elements to PSVita, PS4 & PS3. The statement posted to the game’s homepage read: On November 15th the team at StormBASIC announced it would be drawing Invokers Tournament (and their studio) to a close on May 15th, 2019.
